Sugar, honey and lemon all the way.
Be very careful of over exfoliating your skin. It may seem fine now but later on down the line the skin will be a lot thinner and prone to burning, broken capillaries and will look a lot dryer as you age.
The St. Ives exfoliant is made out of kernels that aren't finely granulated. The kernels actually end up tearing your skin in the long run causing more damage. It's good on other parts of the body, just not the face. You should also exfoliate no more than 2x a week.
Mix water and sugar to make a paste and massage it on
I have an exfoliating wash cloth and I use peppermint body wash from bath and body works, makes my skin feel so clean and soft
Water, sugar & honey. The miracles of nature!
I've heard sugar, honey, and lemon juice works fantastic. The sugar for exfoliating...the honey to keep skin soft..and the lemon juice to brighten up complexion. Though I think it's better if you wet the skin and just scrub the sugar dry on the wet skin. That way it still remains as an exfoliator.
