Well i don't have a problem with my nails growing. My nails get extremely long within give or take 2 weeks. When i cut them down they grow instantly. i do nothing special for my nail growth though.
I heard soaking your nails in warm salt water helps keep them healthy, to where they can grow. But after wards you should push your cuticles back and put on some fresh nail polish.

I use to dip my fingers in rubbing alcohol before school and the bitter nastiness prevented me from biting my nails it helped break my habit

I'm a serious nail biter and will bite through just about everything, including acrylic nails! I take biotin and it helps and wear glue on nails from Walmart which helps some! But have never been able to break the habit! Good luck!

This might seem weird but my grandma told me rubbing garlic on your nails helps them grow fast and strong ! Try it out :)

i am a horrible nail biter and honestly, what i find is that you should avoid trying to grow them super long. just cut and file them as soon as they are as long as your fingertip so there is not as much too bite, and at least they will look neat and clean. nail polish helps too but once it starts to chip I find that prompts me to pick and bite them again. once mine get even a little bit long i will bite them. hope this helps

Try finding a cute nail design or a color that you like. You'll like it so much that you won't want to ruin them. I myself used to be a nail biter but after using this tip I stopped

I used to bite my nails constantly when I was younger and what helped me was I would paint my nails every day and instead of biting my nails I would try and remove the nail polish by scraping it off it distracted me from biting them eventually I got bored of even doing that and haven't bit my nails for about 6 years now! sounds weird but definitely helped me :-)

I have the same problem. Chewing gum helps me not bite them, when i wear acrylic nails it also helps. If theyre glue on ones from walmart ill pick at the ends near where my cuticles are, ill also pick the nail polish off if im wearing nail polish.

I usually repaint my nails when I feel like I need to bite them. The remains of the Nail Varnish Remover tastes gross and also my nails are wet! I used to peel off my nail varnish off instead also.

Whenever I paint my nails I won't bite them because I want my nails to look good and I don't want them looking chipped! So paint your nails!

I don't know if they still make it, but I used to use this stuff called "no bite". it's clear and goes on like a polish. it tastes really bitter.

Just wait. I had it bad and nothing I tried would break it and then suddenly I stopped. It most likely is a nervous habit and you need to find a way to entertain your hands. I used silly putty.
