Hey beauties! I have an interview tomorrow for a receptionist position at a vet clinic and I need ideas for makeup and clothes! Possibly hair as well. My hair is slightly layered and falls just past my shoulders. I also have blunt bangs as well. Thank you!

Dress pants/skirt and a nice blouse or a dress. Not a party or sundress, a nice one. NO JEANS. Leggings are debatable.
Heels or flats, NO SNEAKERS.
Hair curled/straightened (whichever you prefer) or in a slick bun/ponytail.
Keep the makeup simple and natural.

Something along these lines. I'd recommend something with sleeves or that covers your bra strap. Job interviews are no time for cleavage.
Few tips -
- Find out about the company! When they started, who established it, where they have them (especially if it's a larger company and they have more branches), what they do, etc
- At the end of the interview when they ask if you have any questions, don't ask about salary! You can ask about the day to day running, what to expect, what software they use. If you don't have any questions, you can say that they answered them all throughout the interview!
- Remember that the interviewers are human! They're not trying to trick you, they are probably lovely people!
- Shake their hand! It shows professionalism. Do it before the interview and after.
- Arrive 5-10 minutes early. This shows interest and good time management. It also gives you time to prepare yourself.
- Bring a copy of your CV and any relevant documentation (such as photo ID). Although they may already have it, it shows that you're prepared. Have them organised and in a folder.
- Don't feel rushed to answer a question, you are allowed to think of an answer for a few seconds before answering.
- Maintain eye contact, but don't look creepy!
- Sit with your back straight and your hands on your lap. If you're prone to fidgeting (like myself!), sit with your hands held on your lap
- Like the one before, don't fiddle with your hair or outfit. It shows distraction.
- Remember that you are as good as the other candidates and that YOU have an interview! They've shown interest in you! Best of luck!
