Brittany anytime! Though I'm appreciative of you ladies breaking down the products and explaining them, this stuff still feels amazing on my skin and I love it. The fact that I could shed some light on a product to make you feel more confident wearing makeup, Brittany- makes my day.

You're awesome too! xo

With all due respect Brittany I think its funny that your trying to push this balm by saying it gives you confidence when you say it works just like your other primers at a lower cost so your saying the other primers that did the same thing didn't give you confidence but all of sudden this balm that according to you does the same thing is so unbelievable that it gives you confidence, but its the same thing. If you like it and works for you then good for you, this thread just like any other is ment for discussion, but throwing a tantrum won't get you nothing, everyone has there oppinion and is more then welcome to share and if you don't like discussions then what can i say have a good day

So I just bought this balm and here's my two cents on this;

If you really think this products is giving your foundation a flawless finish then you need to truly sit back down and address your skin. If something this cheap is transforming anyones skin, the issue is that the skin care you are using is lacking quality. You don't need to spend $300 to get quality skin care or get facials every other week, all it takes is a bit of knowledge on ingredients and you can easily find something in your budget.

My pores have not been 'blurred' or 'smoothed' or anything to that effect and my skin is quite a far cry from being moisturized.

The corners of my mouth have a slight stinging sensation that was not there today.

That being said Brittany, I highly doubt this will do anything for your skin if you suffer from eczema.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the container was the strong fragrance.. I applied this and I smelled like I was smothered in men's cologne the whole day and ended up suffering from it.

Now, fragrance is listed last however it also contains Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride. I understand it's labeled 'lightly fragrance' but there's a minimal amount of ingredients along with the fact that it's labeled for Sensitive skin which is misleading at this point.

Fragrance both synthetic and natural is quite harmful to skin.
Fragrance causes skin sensitivity issues and allergic reactions.
Now, understand that your skin doesn't need to show any signs of inflammation or redness to be irritated as it goes more skin deep than that.
Fragrance on your skin (especially an area as delicate as your face) breaks down collagen which in terms can tamper with the skins ability to fight environmental damage, as well as interrupt the skins ability to heal.

I don't think I'll be using this again. It didn't work for me and my skin looked funny the whole day.

This would be today's make up not using the Nivea balm and no primer just my skin care.

I'm not throwing a tantrum girl no need for the condescending tone, I don't think in all my years on here I've ever seen you speak to me in a respectful manner, I'm a child girl. I am not claiming its unique or magical, no one was. My Laura Mercier primer used to make me confident in my skin and I CANT afford to be repurchasing it as some of us aren't that lucky. I don't see why anyone should have to state they like a product only to get a million reason why it "sucks" or "isn't worth raving about" from people who haven't tried it. I've been here a LONG time, and It's sad that it's now a little "knowledge monopoly" where discussion and respectful argument/debate is encouraged until someone disagrees with the big names on here and then is no longer reasonable or being honest. I sit down and take a look at my skin every week, with my dermatologist to try and combat my many skin problems and dehydration. Sorry it didn't work for you kitty, but I'll be bringing it in to my dermatologist before pro longed view as I do with everything new because we have an agreement. Beautylish isn't what it used to be, thanks for your information and contribution to the thread, of course all information is taken into account before someone buys a product and it's good to have the good the bad and the ugly. Just wish people didn't feel the need to tell someone they were wrong for liking a product.

Brittany in order for someone to talk to someone with respect weather its in here or in life in general they have to give it and you frankly just don't show respect I've seen you do it to me and many others, and to your little comment about liking a product only to get a million reasons why it sucks all I have to say is a person should be able to disagree with a product and not have people say a million things raving on how good the product is just to shove it down someones throat just to try to be right, have a good day Brittany

This is unfortunate sadly and shouldn't be a debate. I thought this thread was good and open for all pros &cons without debate and show awareness of all corners of the product which I think was leaning towards that. All thread's are a open book to all knowledge whether we agree or not that's what's awesome about these forums we can just chat about it no big deal. This isn't a battle of who's right or wrong it's just a simple conversation for all to think about. I have to mention in the thread archives Brittany you also have extended comment's of information you've shared in this community of your thought's on product's and this is nothing different from those. So can we please just carry on with respect and laughter and jus give feed back. I'm curious to know what your derm would say Brittany honestly so that could be something to share.
My daughter has eczema & Psoriasis and I know the struggle and I'm sure many here in the community do too, so please do share as soon as you can. Kitty Thank you for sharing your insight as well, this gives a interesting view of your results and gives us something to think about. Jackie that was also informative and gives a good aspect of what we should look for in product's which we all tend to not to compare. Hope you all have a care free beautiful day :)

I'm curious

^ whoops! I'm curious as to what he would say too which is exactly why I'd trust his opinion when I see him. I've have to remove myself from this conversation as I usually do once lilli begins to make her personal dislike for me known to the world. Alma I love sharing products I enjoy or don't enjoy, I don't think telling someone that their like for a product which you've never even tried (the word you being used in a general context) is invalid is fair though. At first really all I did was answer your question (aka WHY the rave) so is that wrong? Beautylish has changed so much unfortunately and I don't even feel comfortable stating opinions that differ from the more popular names in here until now which was apparently for good reason as I've noticed (I always watch the threads but never comment) as soon as one popular member gets disagreed with all the others know to jump in. Really wish beautylish was a community as it used to be and not some peoples opinions being values more than others

Who's popular? This is turning into something off.I asked and I also wanted to know the difference nothing more but I'll buy it to compare with my own thought's. Best of luck and don't forget to share bye beautifuls :)
