I just dyed my hair todag...just a root touch up. I was wondering if it would be bad to do a coconut oil treatment on my hair today even though I just dyed it??

The oil may break down the fresh dye and make it fade a bit. other than that there's no real risk.

I would wait a couple days... I use coconut oil to take the dye off my skin so I imagine it would strip or fade the dye I'm not sure maybe just a regular deep conditioner would work better for the time being
