Red is super hard to maintain. My hair is a dark auburn. I extended my washings to every 3 days and even then in cool water. I also bought a color depositing shampoo to brighten it. If you don't it will fade in a week or 2

I like it a lot! Just know that red is difficult to keep up. It's a color that can quickly fade out to brown and start to look full if you don't take efforts to preserve the color.
