I have been having problems with my skin particularly on my face and neck. I have extremely sensitive skin and often get dry skin. I need some help with any moisturisers that won't irritate my skin also some foundations that are not to heavy. Does anyone have any home made facial recipes???
Pick a moisturizer specifically made for sensitive skin and one w a sunscreen. I like Olay Complete all day UV moisturizer for sensitive skin. For foundation I would use a mineral powder such as bare minerals or if you prefer liquid, Loreal true match.
Get a light facial lotion for sensitive skin and put that on before makeup. Powder foundations are the lightest and won't irritates your skin and will show dry flakey skin the least. Liquid or cream are heavy and make dry patches stand out.
Sunscreen often irritates my face and the zinc blocks create a pale cast that does not photograph well. I like my Dermalogica Sensitive skin block, and Chanel's. Chanel's doubles as a primer but it is too damn expensive to regularly purchase. I would rather purchase my La Mer moisturizer. When low on funds, I buy Cetaphil cream or Nivea and apply it like La Mer by warming it in my hands first and patting it on. I cleanse with Shu oil and that balances my skin. As for foundations, I use La Mer's powder foundation when my skin feels irritated.
The Garnier Fructis Moisture Rescue Lightweight UV Lotion (phew that's a mouthful) is amazing. It's super light, it's cheap, it's hydrating and it has no frills on it that are likely to cause any kind of reaction/sensitivity.
honestly, I have very sensitive and dry skin. I also get seasonal eczema. I've used the same lotion on my face since I was 11. VASALINE intensive care lotion unfragranced. you all might laugh and think I'm kidding, but I have people daily ask me what I use on my face. I was blessed with really good skin, but I swear by it. it's also like 5$ for a huge bottle and you can also use it on the rest of your body. hope that helps, you might think I'm crazy :P I promise it works!

I would recommend French brands, LaRoche Posay, Embrolisse, Avene and Vichy. They all have creams/foundations to suit v.sensitive/dry skins.
