I swear by this product. I had really bad cystic acne for years and it disappeared completely after using this. I also use thayers rose water toner and buttermilk moisturizer from Mario badescu. What type of makeup are you using? That could be a cause of your issues.

It could be the primer that's giving you issues.. I have had issues with most of the primers I've tried (excluding smash box) silicone breaks a lot of people out :(

Yes, when you pop a pimple the bacteria is spread. When you push into your skin you are breaking open the portion of the pimple that is under the skin and it spreads and creates more pimples. I know it's really difficult to deal with but it's best to not pop it. My skin is quite dehydrated as well & I'm an esthetician who now recently works with Murad. I don't know the product line as well as Dermalogica which I studied but so far the soothing serum has been quite helpful for me. I also use Dermalogica barrier repair. I apply it after my moisturizers, serums, spf and it locks everything in and creates a barrier to environmental factors and pollutants that can be causing your dehydration. it's also amazing as a makeup primer I highly suggest it

Popping them will release the bacteria. You said your washing your face and hands after, which is good! Whenever I pop my zits (which I have an unfortunate habit of doing) I always put a little piece of toilet paper or tissue over the popped area until I'm positive that it's completely stopped pussing (or sometimes bleeding...ew I know). Make sure that you don't apply any all of moisturizer or cream until you're completely sure the spot is clean and not still oozing. I recommend washing the spot again after you've done the tissue thing. Then use moisturizer or whatever. Also, wash your pillow cases!! This seems like a silly thing, but I swear my acne always clears up when I put of a fresh pillow case.

P.S. I have no background in skincare or anything and popping zits is definitely probably a bad thing...this is just how I do it, but I'm sure skin care experts know better than me. Really, if you can resist, try not to pop them, but as a fellow person who always gives into the temptation to pop them, this is how I do it. (Also I think that they sell tools for popping zits so that the bacteria isn't spread as much and it's less likely to scar? I don't have any though so you'll have to research that on your own).

My stepdad taught me that if you have a white head, put some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and hold it against the pimple for few minutes. The pimple will either become small or pop, and the rubbing alcohol will kill the bacteria. I personally LoVE. Philosophies Clear Days Ahead line for acne. They sell a 30 day kit at sephora for $40. It is very gentle, doesn't irritate or dry out my sensitive dry skin. My chin was cracked and peeling and I was afraid to use the moisturizer because it has salicilyc acid, and I thought it would dry my skin. But by the evening my chin was completely moisturized. Also, the products help with scars left after acne, they even tone the skin. I would highly highly highly recommend you to get them. I have tried Murad in the past and it was very irritating for me. Didn't help with my acne at all. I'm probably in my second week of philosophy line and my skin is almost clean.

I would wait and then wash again. And also you can put a bandaid over the tissue and keep it on for a few hours (or overnight) and then it's usually safe to put on moisturizer :) that's generally what helps me the most I forgot to mention it earlier.

Try washing your pillow case daily. Also, it could be a hair product you're using since it's on your forehead. Or it could be breakouts from your makeup. I know for me all those things have given me cluster breakouts.

Aww I was the same at one point! Was hormonal I think! Try evening primrose capsules see if it settles it and try a anti bac cream like sudo cream when you pop I no how hard it is to not do! Keep the area clean and dry and make up free if possible (soon as your in take it all off!) use only gentle fragrance free skincare like the simple range, and hopefully in a few weeks it will be settled, don't use crazy acne products tho! I did and it made mine worse, I was actually the same forehead melt down and it hurts so bad :(
