I'm trying to go from bright red to a darkish plum purple and I have a lot of questions :0
1) what steps would I have to take beforehand so the red doesn't show through too much?
2) what dye is most similar to the color in the picture below?
3) I want to only have purple for a couple of weeks- to a month and then go back red. Would that be really difficult to accomplish?
4) to go red I didn't have to bleach before but I use Loreal Hicolor so it lightened my hair to a dark ginger color Would the purple be able to go over that?
Last but not least- do you think I would look good with it? Lol guys I'm crazy. 😂

1) ask a hairspecialist becouse the red can collor with the purple and That can become a totally different collor like green or something weard.
2)aubergine purple or galaxy purple with a little black or darkblue
3) use a collorshampoo in purple from a good brand or collor iT again to red buth thats very bad for your hair
4) don't do iT with purple becouse iT becomes pink or lightblue

I really love your red now and I think iT would be beauthiful That purple

First, I think you should get the red off your hair a bit, I suggest watching "wildpastelhair" videos on YouTube, she has a lot of videos about "how to fade a bright color :) and I don't think that the purple will cover the dark ginger color, you will probably need bleach. The color on your picture looks like a mix between a dark pink and a cold violet, so if I were you I would check manic panic colors or directions hair dyes, choose two and mix them :) also, since the purple you want is kinda dark, going back to red will be a bit hard I think..

(Sorry for the bad English xD)

I Will searched out for you which collor (shampoo) is the best for you buth I am not a specialist so first talk to a hairdresser, only they know what iT becomes when you go from red to purple, even don't ask someone who already did iT becouse its diffrent from person to person! Nobody knows how your hair Will react.

Garnier has a product called collor styles and there is light purple so maybe you can Putt iT together with a black or brown collor from the same brand! Or just let your hairdresser collored your hair :)
