Flat hair please help?

My hair goes rlly flat when I straighten it (which is most days but I always use heat protector spray) but I can't use volumiser spray or powder coz I have an allergic reaction any tips thanks In advance xx

Sometimes depends wether it's freshly washed of not if it is defo yes but if 1 day old or something it does but not as much.

Have you tried a bit of cornstarch as a scalp powder with a bit of backcombing to lift the root?

My friend has really flat hair and she said that to fix it, she blow dries her hair after she showers with a big round brush (I also blow dry with my head flipped over sometimes) you could also tease (backcomb) your hair at the crown.

Thanks sometimes I like it sometimes I wish I had bigger hair when I wanna do a high ponytail with it coz teasing just makes it knotty and hard to untangle xx
