Hot water and a cloth... Take a cloth, run it under hot water, and wring it out...apply over said bump and leave it there until it gets cool. Repeat.

You can melt some epsom salts in the hot water first too.

Then it may be best to go see a doctor. I had a cysts that never surfaced, and I had to get them to cut down into it to drain it.

Or wait longer to see if it surfaces.

If it's a cyst, it probably won't come to a head.

Onions, it sounds weird and smells worse but red skinned-onions have properties that draw bacteria to them when applied to the skin.

Ooh! Red skinned onions have also been used for colds. You peel it and cut it in half and put it in an open container or bowl on a table beside the bed, by the head. As you sleep and breathe, the onion with pull all the bacteria from your throat and chest out through your breath and soak it up. In the morning it should have dark spots... I've never done this but an old lady told me about it. Apparently cures a cold within a couple days paired with drinking hot onion tea... This has nothing to do with this post, but the above comment totally reminded me of this haha. Thought I'd share.
