Hey guys, I'm 20 years old and I've recently been self conscious about the fine lines under my eyes, I feel like they are really noticeable at least to me when doing my makeup, is there any under eye skincare recommendations that you guys use? Thanks (:

I ordered Body Merry's Age Defense eye cream from amazon and I loooove it. I've always had an issue with eye creams being too greasy on my skin, but this one is just right. I haven't been using it long enough to see if it reduces my dark circles, but my puffiness and fine lines are damn near gone. Plus, it's organic so you can feel good about putting it on your skin :)

You could be experiencing undereye dryness, which shows even the finest of facial lines or the product you are using beneath your eyes simply isn't working with your skin and so it's creasing.
I'd begin with moisturizing both day and night. I'd try using Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream. A serious surge of hydration for overnight routines. For day, I'd use Embryolisse lait-creme for gentle, powerful hydration...that is also a stellar primer for your foundation. To prime the eye area, I recommend Perfekt Eye perfection gel. This product is light, soorhing, smooth...depuffs beneath the eye (and in tinted shades) brightens with soft, natural undereye coverage that won't crease. If you powder heavily, ease up on that as well. If you are looking for preventative measures, always broad spectrum sunscreen, drink water, wear sunglasses, and get your greens on. Good luck. :)

*soothing ugh typossss It's important to remember we all have smile lines and natural facial creases at every age.

Wow thank you Rozberry your response was really informative, and yes I've noticed before that my concealer was creasing (which I fixed) and was making my lines look worse and after that now I feel like I have really bad fine lines under my eyes and want to prevent them from getting worse, now I'm really getting into skin care because before I really didn't bother but it is an important thing to have in your routine lol Anyways, thank you for your suggestions! :)

Wayne Goss's latest video talks about concealer caking into lines, so maybe you can check that out! I'm the same age and I've the same problem.

Brizette, you could slowly introduce retinol into your skincare if you truly feel lines are increasing. I cannot stress enough inner and outer hydration's importance, but retinol in tiny doses will make a difference. Look for products, such as CeraVe AM and PM. These contain anti-aging ceramides and peptides. As time progresses, you will see true changes. Roc has a retinol formula that is affordable and effective. I'd also bump up my C, B complex, Zinc and Omega 3. I'm glad I could be of some help. Not all moisturizers are equal and so I do feel those suggested in conjunction with jojoba oil should make a significant improvement. :)

I'd lastly like to say that I cannot relate the importance of not tugging, rubbing or stretching the delicate eye area. Use only true, pure cotton on your face and a natural oil or ponds for make up removal...100 percent cotton washcloths...warm, not hot water..and avoid scratchy synthetic wipes that are aimed at convenience for quick make up removal. I cringe when I see eye tuggers...argggg.
