It's going to take a bit of bleaching, maybe one or two followed by a bleach bath, then toning. It's unbelievably easy to have it come out patchy, so just be prepared for that. You might have to go back a third time and just bleach the darker parts again. It'll take awhile.

& if your hair isn't healthy, it'll be even harder, your hair might completely break off. Look for a toner that says white blonde/snow blonde or something, Sallys has a great amount of toners.

You definitely want to do it in steps I've been lighting and so far I've had 3 sessions 2 full head highlights and a whole head bleach. Its definitely not as platnuim as your pictures. I've had it done by a professional and it still came out a bit patchy but its not terrible. She only bleached it to a bright yellow shade with a few strand of pale yellow/white strands (where the highlights were) she toned it but I feel like she rinsed to quickly so it came out very golden but it wasn't horrible because I let it for about 3 weeks and then toned with wella toner t14 and t18 mixed it removed sooooo much of the golden yellow tones it left it a very nice ashy blonde. my hair is still manageable and not destroyed. I don't plan on going to a salon any more because its pretty close to the color I want I feel like I would be safe bleaching it on my own to get the color I want. so my advice is do it steps and definitely get wella t18.

You shouldn't update put lemon juice in your hair before you go to the beach.. And just sit there. Don't wash it out until later. It'll get really light like in your example for picture.
