Coconut oil on dry or wet hair?

I have personally never heard about applying coconut oil on damp hair! but ya if you apply it for getting shine n smooth ness so you can apply taking a small amount after washing your hairs but making sure that it doesn't makes your hair oily. and applying coconut oil on dry hair is best, hot oil massage and leaving it overnight gives a deep condition to your hairs! :)

I don't think your hair would soak in the oil because it's wet. Water and oil don't mix together

Welll...I apply it on dry hair...a lot of it...and I put a plastic shower cap and leave it as long as I can...sometimes overnight. the heat and moisture along with the oil makes my hair super soft...
