"Jelly bean" finish??

Recently I have seen certain nail polishes being referred to as having a "jelly bean" finish (e.g. the new Julie G summer line)? What does that mean? It looks kind of matte but not really to me. I'm confused 😣

I don't know for sure but based on the "finish" of a jelly bean, I would guess it's a demi matte finish.

I Google this! I lost the article though...maybe it was on vamp varnish but they described it as a satin/rubber like finish. so not quite matte but still somewhat flat looking.

Jelly nail polishes are more jelly looking on the nail, if that makes sense :) They're a little more matte and waxy looking. Somewhat thicker looking, lol! I agree with Kelly :)
