Does chamomile or black tea actually lighten your hair?

I don't know about either one, but lemon works well

My friend uses sunin, it's something you spray in your hair and lighten it if that helps.

Don't use sun in if your hair is darker. it can make your hair turn a brassy or orangey color. most hair products for lightening hair in stores are targeted towards blondes. how light are you wanting your hair to be? if you're wanting it to be blonde or really light, you're best off getting it bleached since your description says your hair is black. any sort of lightening will dry out your hair most likely so do keep that in mind. lemon is really really bad for the hair. it dries it out like crazy. if you tell us what color you're wanting, I can provide you with a better answer (:

Hi katelyn! Thank you so much! Yes, I do have dark black hair but I have some natural goldeny-brown highlights. I just want to give my hair a soft golden brown sun kissed look.

Oh okay! I gotcha! I like to mix honey and conditioner, go outside and lay in the sun a bit, and then wash it out. it gradually lightens your hair but it's a lot nicer on the hair than lemon (:

Or you can mix honey lemon and tea. Those are all natural hair lighters , put them into a spray bottle with conditioner. And like Katelyn said, go out in the sun for a bit. Just make sure that you keep your hair moist.

You can get blonde box dye, only $2 and use it. It has lightening agents and does the job for cheap. I believe I already told you this in one of your previous threads though.

Just a heads up, Sun in and lemon will bring out orange tones in your hair...you risk brassy.

You definitely don't want brassy!! ^
