I think that it has nothing to do with the brand and everything to do with the style/design of the product. Some of their hand bags are terribly old fashioned, and some are very young looking and cute.

Some stuff I could see being marketed or designed for older women but a majority of their newer stuff is aimed towards high spending people in their late twenties early thirties, but I could easily see a younger person with a Marc Jacobs bag.

There are no age range for fashion and style. Marc Jacobs has a recent bag collection with bright colours in pink, neon blue etc.

What is considered an older lady brand? I'm just curious because it seems like us older dames get thrown in the "old" category. I go to school with a woman who is 62 years old and she buys and wears trendy pieces and wears them better than me. I'm 41 and I still carry a Hello Kitty purse from time to time.
As far as MJ bags his designs tend to bring back bygone eras. I have one of his structured leather bags that I purchased in 2004 and its very reminiscent of the '60's.

He does do the Marc by Marc Jacobs line that seems to be a little 'younger' but I don't know if that includes bags. If you love it, own it! :D.
