Ok so I am very big chested and fellow big chested ladies know they sweat a lot and then they itch and then they get raw from all the itching so my question is what do you do to help this or stop it? it can happen anytime and its just not comfortable I make sure I dry them 100% but it still happens I just need some advice and recommendations.

Are you talking about underneath and around?

Yess shanae and I feel like Vaseline woukd make it worse cause it would keep it moist and it needs to stay dry.

You can try medicated powders that contain menthol to soothe area. make sure you're washing 2x daily with an antibacterial cleanser in the area especially during hot, humid weather. Regular cornstarch or cornstarch powder will do the trick. Try keeping the area dry as possible. I've heard some people use an antiperspirant in the area. Cornstarch and keeping the area clean and dry works to avoid fungal and bacterial build up

Yeah I just use a little baby powder right in between especially now that it's getting warmer.

I'm definitely getting some baby powder. This thread was helpful, thanks girls! Thank you Brianna for making it, I seriously thought I had a problem. Lmfao.

I'm going to warn you guys about baby powder... It could work for you, but it was a total disaster for me.
I sweat under my breasts too, and I tried baby powder to keep it from getting humid and nasty.

Only thing it did, it gave me a terrible rash. The powder clogged my sweat glands and my rash, which started as one little bubble, spread onto my stomach and down my torso... It itched like crazy.

My dermatologist told me not to use powder anymore... But I still haven't found a solution to the sweat problem except showering more (and then drying the area thoroughly)... It doesn't need to be with soap if it's more than once a day (you don't want to strip your skin).

Again, it may not cause these problems to you, but I thought I'd warn you guys!

It may be weird but I always used to put roll on deodorant on the bits that sweated heaps. Now that I use coconut oil deodorant I put that on instead of the roll on since I don't buy it anymore and that solved a lot of my sweating problems.

I understand! It's awful and people look at me crazy when I'm trying to readjust myself so they stop itching lol. Sadly I haven't found a thing to help either. I keep those areas moisturized and I try to not run for long periods of time because the bouncing creates more friction and therefore more itchiness. At least for me it does. I'm definitely following to see everyone else's suggestions, because this problem is incredibly irritating!

I put deodorant there too and it makes the problem worse.

Dove makes this dry deodorant spray stuff for under your arms but I'm sure it would work for your chest too.

It sounds almost like chaffing, try out some chaffing products, I hear Monistat makes a really good one!

I have the same problem with sweating underneath my breasts as well. The only solution that I've tried and have found that works is rolling a bit of Dove deodorant on the areas, as Amy and Erin suggested. It might not work for everyone (Shanae experienced issues using this method), though it may also be the brand of deodorant that you are using as well, how sensitive your skin is, etc. :)
