I don't have birchbox so I can't really compare but I have ipsy and I love it, I'm never disappointed

I lean towards liking Birchbox more so these days than Ipsy. I have had a subscription to both for a little over a year each. Product wise I've received way more more high end brands from Bb.
Examples: Liz Earle, Benefit, Jane Iredale, Smashbox, It cosmetics, Crown brush, Jouer, Model co, Roloxin, Tarte, Bumble&bumble, Toni&Guy and so many more there's too many to list lol. Needless to say, the value is always there with Bb. Also they have an awesome point system. For every item you receive and review you get 10 points, for every 100 points you get $10 off anything you want from their store. You get 5 or 6 samples each month so your points add up fast and you can save them up for bigger discounts. I have almost $50 worth of points saved up just from reviewing the stuff they sent me. I just love it all the way around.

The only one I've ever tried was ipsy, I loved the products that they sent but I canceled my subscription due to them removing an extra 10$. So instead of paying 10$ for a bag I paid 20$.

Jessica, try emailing them. I literally just cancelled my ipsy subscription yesterday because I couldn't handle the wait list (I ordered boxycharm instead) but the lady I talked to said she would take me off the wait list if I agreed to stay. It's worth a try!
