Alittle bit ago I got a really bad sunburn and it went mostly away, but now my back is peeling like crazy and I have prom in a couple days any tips on how to get it to stop peeling.

Cool aloe vera straight from the plant if you have it. If not, gels works too. Refrain from putting any lotions on it, it'll do the exact opposite of what you'd think it would do. At least on me it does. Definitely gently exfoliate the area.

It actually seems like it's already started healing if it's already peeling so aloe is not an issue :) if you will exfoliate, do not use a scrub as the beads will get rid of of much more than the dead skin, instead try making a milk and oatmeal scrub, it will sooth while exfoliating :)
