Definitely try Michaels. I don't think it's a chain store and since I'm in Canada it'll probably be no where near you, but you could look up some in your area. There's a store here called bedrock bead and jewelry supply. And it sells basically everything you'd ever need for making any jewelry. But I'd Google for some in your area, anything like "(city name) bead supply". My sister does lots of homemade jewelry and that's how she found bedrock. The best part about little independent stores is they can give discounts. My sister went in twice in a week, and the lady was like "you come here often, here's x for free and a 10% discount. Mention my name for a discount every time" and so now she goes in for one or two items and comes out with like 10 free things lol.

Michael's by my house has them. I make initial necklaces all the time for my stepdaughters friends and kids in my family. They LOVE them for some reason lol.
