I think the makeup is good I dong really think the lighting is done that well I would suggest hair and fill light because when you shoot makeup like this you want the makeup to look more softer so maybe the light could have better contrast and I think the face look a little over oily and it really defines the creases in the face I don't know exactly what look you were going for but I love the makeup its very artistic just better lighting and a little finishing touches woulda made it perfect hope I helped better luck next time

I like the second picture a lot. The lighting is kind of weird and a bit dark but I personally like it, it draws more attention to the makeup and gives off a cool vibe. I also love the composition of the first photo.

I definitely agree with the lighting feedback. Unfortunately the lighting let me down on this image. I'm not a photographer so really wasn't sure what I was doing! Thank you everyone for the feedback :)

I second Janae here definitely need a hair light, ring lights would give a bit more light to the face or soft boxes for a more diffused look. I'm no professional in photography but I live with one so that's just my two sense. Makeup is gorgeous.
