I don't have the opportunity to go to the nail salon and I need my nails off ASAP. What's the safest way to get them off?

Acetone in a bowl for about 30 mins. Sally's carries pure acetone.

It is even more effective if you cut the lenght and use a file all over your acrilics before the acetone.

Warm water for like 10 minutes works for me.

Can I soak them off using a cotton pad like they do at the nail salon for shellac or is it better to fully submerge them?

I keep them in the warm water until I feel them softening up a bit, then they peel off and I use a nail strengthener.

For me it is faster to submerge them.

Definitely soak your nails in a bowl of acetone for like 15 mins then file the nail off. Be careful to not damage your nail bed. You can purchase pure acetone at Sally's.

Soak cotton pads in pure acetone and then wrap around your nails. Wrap aluminium foil around your nails and leave for 20 mins. They should come off straight away.
