Hehe well I'm going to be the devil on your shoulders and say both!! Even tho they are both neutral I think they are just so different and would work so well together! Hmm if you only can afford one I think I would go with the tartelette... but as most know that's because I'm craving all things Tarts since its not available in my country haha! we always want what we can not have haha!

I would go for the tarte. while kvd made an absolutely beautiful and useful and wonderful palette, I think for me I don't need that many black, brown and taupe
tarte on the other hand has the colors that can be more useful as crease colors when you are going for colorful looks!! personally I have not swatches any one of them, so my humble opinion is purely based on the colors ;)
