Hey Beautylishers,
So usually I am more about splurging on my eye makeup, lipsticks, and those sort of things instead of foundations. I don't know why that's just how I am:) but I've decided my next makeup purchase will be a nice foundation brush (planning on purchasing the Dior full coverage one unless anyone has other recommendations), and a really nice foundation, because I haven't found that HG foundation yet.
I have oily skin and it is also acne prone, and I'm also very pale with no plans to tan or anything. I've picked out a few to choose from so if you have tried any of these, tell me which you think I should get?
Lancôme Teint Idole
MUFE Mat Velvet
Mac Prolongwear
Estée Lauder Double Wear (still unsure of this one, I've heard rave reviews about it but my best friend bought it and said it didn't last well at all for her)
RCMA color process foundation (actually waiting on samples to come in the mail)
Tarte Amazonian clay
Dior foundation (I honestly already forgot the name)
Thanks in advance ladies :)

Oh and I'm also looking for full coverage! I have old acne spots.
And the Dior I was trying to think of was Forever Flawless Perfection Wear

Double Wear wore amazingly on me! Oily skin as well. I'm not pale at all, but I know of some lighter skinned girls that wear this foundation and they have a pretty nice selection of shades. If you can I would go get color matched and get a sample. I was sold after the first day of wearing it.

Thanks Jasmin! The only problem with getting samples and such is that I love no where remotely close to a sephora or anything. I always shop online, which for eye makeup and such isn't a problem, but difficult for foundation for obvious reasons. So when I go to Sephora to get this foundation I'm just buying it and not doing samples, since it's so out of the way to go often.

I agree, I'm a double wear girl! It works amazing on my combo skin.

I'm a Double Wear girl as well! I have oily skin and it doesn't break down from my skin's oils, it's very long wearing and lightweight with medium to full coverage.
Personally I hated the Lancome Teint Idole, I couldn't blend it or build it up to fuller coverage. I also didn't like the finish of it.
I liked MUFE Mat Velvet+ but I didn't love it.

The double wear is incredible! And if you have a Macy's near you, there's and Estée Lauder counter there and they'll match you and give you a 10 day sample (which lasted me about a month, it's very tiny and I built it up to a very full coverage). Of course, no foundation will work for everyone so get a sample of what you can to figure out what works best for you

Thanks a lot ladies! Riff there is no Macys near me lol, I'm in a very small town. But you're all convincing me to try the Estée Lauder, so I might have to just find and excuse and make a special trip to get some samples :)

Double wear is honestly my favorite! and I literally have such crazy oily skin. I've used mac pro long wear and lancome teint idole 24 hour and I still choose the estee lauder double wear! :)

I don't know how pale you consider "very pale" (I say this just because I know a lot of people who think they're super pale but are still like 3 shades tanner than me) but the Estée Lauder Double Wear didn't go pale enough for me. I really liked the sample I got, but unfortunately it was just too tan (I got the palest shade, for reference...I think it was 1N1??). I've also tried the Lancôme Teint Idole in the palest shade and it was still too dark as well. So yeah, the Mat Velvet + goes super pale though, and it's one of my favorites for when my skin is oily! The RCMA goes very pale as well, but it definitely takes some getting used to...see how you like your sample. :) I haven't tried any of the other ones, but I hope this helps!

Thanks Jamie! Looking at your photos I'm thinking I'm just a tad darker than you, but not a whole lot. And yeah I've heard the RCMA is kind of different so I'll see how that goes :)
thanks Giselle!

From all, Lancome was my Hoky grail for the longest.
I too suffer from oily skin and tried MUFE matt Velvet, Estee Lauder DW, then Lancome. That one lived to my expectations which was a perf matteish finish and covered my redness and acne scars well! I will say you have to try them all out bc your skin is not our skin. I wanted to like Estee Lauder DW after many good reviews, but it just wasn't for my skin. It broke me out after 2 wears and didn't look good. Matt Velvet was too drying for me, but noticed that when mixed with a more dewy foundation, then it was a perf combo for my preferred look. Lancome lived up to more than I expected of a foundation and I had tp recently change bc my skin has become dry skin. Really crazy huh! But now I'm using Nars Sheer Glow and I love it! So natural, lightweight as fudge and buildable coverage, but you do need to blot down your t-zones bc it is sheer but great foundation. definitely recommend it during the winter, dry skin, stubborn days. (:
Check out Nars All Day Luminous! It's for oily skin types and is full coverage during the 1st application! I'm going to purchase that one too lol cx

You can always make a trip to pick multiple samples and then go online to order your favorite. That's what I do!

I loved the dior it's so lightweight but gives such good coverage it feels like your not wearing any make up.

True true Elizabeth I don't know why I didn't think of that lol.
And thanks Charlotte! It looks so nice and I figured it would be good with their foundation brush I'm getting

I use the double wear as a daily foundation and I love it, also the makeup forever HD foundation was my go to before I discovered the EL Double Wear. Hope this helps! :)
