Go tell them! They did something wrong! They might be willing to compensate to make you happier. Definitely go tell them! If they don't help, I would suggest (though I could be off on this, I don't have a ton of experience with spray tanning) go to a store and get a tinted mousse. They have dozens out there and they should be able to help with the blotches and the oragnish tint! I hope I helped!

I'm a spray tan tech and that's horrible! I'd definitely go back and say something. did you make sure you exfoliated prior? have no mineral oil products or makeup lotions on? did you do your first shower 6 to 10 hrs after appt with water only? I'm really unsure why this would happen other than over spray and products on your skin separating from the solution.

I don't know if this will work because I don't tan and I saw this in YouTube and the person said self tan but I would try it anyways
Get 1 lemon (since it's for the whole body) get squeeze it on a face cloth or cotton pad and sprinkle sugar on it the sugar will help exfoliate 😘😘😘hope your skin lightens up crossing fingers 👍

My mind is boggled right now. her advice wasn't really wrong, I sometimes wait 24 hrs, the longer you wait the more time it'll have to develop, thus being darker. However, the reason I tell my clients to wait less is because a. it's a minimum amount b. until your first shower of water only, the bronzer is still on your skin and if it smudges or anything it'll affect your tan. If you get caught in the rain, wash dishes, brush your teeth & hands get wet, are sleeping and you don't have your hands in gloves (another thing I suggest to clients) and your palms touch your legs it can transfer the bronzer so it's just my always realistic advice to say to wait 24 hrs or worth it, yes your tan may be darker but that's just more time for an opportunity to mess it up

It's a hard situation because I've seen people come back to other techs I used to work with complaining about their tan when really they showered too soon, shaved, got caught in the rain or biggest thing lied about having certain products on their skin which caused the tan to look bad and it's hard to prove them it wasn't the techs fault but theirs.. but I've also worked with some of those techs that were horrible spray tan artists in my opinion & I've seen so many bad outcomes ( that's why I left there, didn't want to be associated) & like I said it could be so many things but I would definitely ask for a refund because in my opinion it looks like too much solution was sprayed on you, probably too much barrier cream on the hands and not evenly spread and she should have explained the consequences of waiting so long and how much darker it would be. Do you know what brand solution was used? Lemon can be very harsh on your skin, I'd exfoliate your entire body though for sure to get it off. It will come off I promise it just may take a few times. I hate seeing stuff like this I hope you get a refund because if you showered like the 'pro' suggested and didn't have any products on your skin this is no way your fault

Sorry I'm in the middle of a report & keep realizing what I'm missing in my posts. 24 hrs is NOT* worth it. & in regards to the lemon, if you have sensitive skin it may be too harsh. if not you can use the lemon I suggest making a paste with lemon juice and baking soda if you do have sensitive skin any exfoliant you've tried and works for your skin will work for this. it's all about exfoliating and cell turnover to get rid of the horrible tan. any method will work, dry brushing, mechanical or chemical exfoliant, home made or store bought, shaving will help as well.
