I think you're platinum for good after that, that's what I've heard, but I haven't even shopped at ulta so I could be wrong lol.

You must spend 400 or more in a calender year, each year to keep your status. but you keep your platinum status for a year after you obtain it. I went platinum in 2014, but will stay platinum until the end of 2015, unless I spend another 400 or more in 2015.

Okay so if you got platinum last year you still have it this year but if you want to keep being a platinum member next year 2016 you have to spend 400$ again by December 31st of this year.

Your points actually do expire if your a regular member. They expire when you joined. So if you joined Feb. 1st 2014 your points will expire Feb 1st of 2015 hope I made sense lol.

I'm platinum each year you have to spend $400 to maintain platinum status, if you turned platinum this year, if you spend another $400 it will roll over your platinum status for next year, and it lastes you on the callender year of by the end of this year not when you started, I belive this part but don't know for sure cuz I always roll on to platinum for next year, but when the year starts it goes back to $0 spend so this is why I think its only on a calender year but I do know for sure you have to keep spending $400 to manitain status its not a permanent thing, and lets say u spend 1200 ur status will only roll over for next year not 2 years it only rolls over once

Don't quote me on this because it seems that everyone who's commented before has mixed ideas, but, when you're platinum you now earn 1.25 points per 1$ versus just 1 point per 1$. and being platinum your points never expire. I'm pretty sure points for regular members expire monthly. Also if you've asked employees and they aren't giving you the same answer, ask to speak with a manager.
