Make sure you have the correct kind of lipstick, a long-staying type. No matter what you do, if the lip product isn't long lasting, it probably will have to be reapplied throughout the day.

Prime the lip and lipliner helps a lot and setting the lipstick with a no color powder hels as well.

I use a lip balm stain or just lipstick stain under my lipstick and that usually helps the color last all day - but it still fades by late afternoon - so I also carry it around for touch ups

Add a little foundation to your lips, then apply a lip liner all over, next apply a lipstain, and go over it with lipstick.

For a one step fix with no added steps a lip sealant fixative is a must have for any lipstick or lipliner this also will turn all smooth cream lipsticks into a matte finish. Sealed with a kiss fixative sealant would be perfect. 😊 What sealant do you recommend Shanae? It would help with options.

I usually use translucent powder over mine. But one thing I always recommend is if you like matte finishes, the Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balms have incredible staying power.

Oh, I don't have any recommendations, I don't use them lol. I just know that sealants are the best way to keep the lip product in place.

Shanae lol ;) I Get it at Sally's beauty supply and kmart it's pretty much almost everywhere Sandra. I want to say I think Jackie had used the Ben Nye sealant as I have yet to try so can't compare the two I'm sorry I just like to be honest about products I actually use versus talking for the sake of knowing rights so I'm no help on that product but I'm sure Jackie would be of great help on the Ben nye question you have. 😊
