Careful with the empire waist! They can end up making you look pregnant! Not good when your not! Haha been there :( but all those above suggestions are awesome ideas :)

Hm it's my understanding that the "muffin top" is caused by wearing bottoms that don't fit right? So if you were able to find a pair of jeans that fit better in the waist (I know this is often the BIGGEST struggle) you might feel more comfortable in any style top!

Yeh I no that tight jeans etc.total emphasise it but still have a jelly belly without them too like you raylene 😂, I find it difficult as I have skinny legs and a small bum so if I bought bigger waist they would just swap me everywhere else 😭

I know!! As it is I can pull my pants down without undoing them :( but I think it's a bigger problem than what my husband thinks. He thinks it's just a normal, natural thing on all girls, which I'm sure it is but still, I'd love to be "smooth and sleek" haha but yea. Loose fitted shirts are my go to, it's not so so bad for me anymore, I mean my youngest is 4, so my body is allllllmost back to normal lol

I remember when I wore low-waisted jeans I had a sort of pouchy, muffin-top-like belly even without pants. Now I usually only wear high-waisted jeans and my belly slopes naturally instead of having a shelf. I wonder if its a result of spending a lot of time wearing squeezy pants that sort of "trains" your body to be shaped like that? In which case something like spanx could help get rid of it for good. But I feel you on the jean struggle - I have the opposite where anything that fits bed my thighs is then gaping in the waist :( I actually need to go buy a pair today and I am dreading it!

Oh I feel you jack!! I dread jeans! And no matter what I can't find any that aren't low waisted! The ones that fit higher on my waist ends up creasing and gaping in my crotch! I hate it 😣 so I wear yoga pants 80% if the time hahaha.

Raylene, have you tried BDG jeans from urban? I see people of all shapes and sizes wearing them (they have 3 red lines on the back pocket, so they're a bit distinctive) and they always look great. They're the only ones I know fit me. They're crazy overpriced for the quality but you can usually find them at secondhand stores, esp if you live near a "nicer" one like platos closet or buffalo exchange.

I kinda like high waisted jeans just I have no ass 😭 lol that tee looks a bit boxy as I'm busty doesn't look all that great I mean I am real busty :/ and only petite with a muffin top life is cruel haha
