Styling side swept bangs?

I'm growing my bangs out so right now they're a little past my chin. The problem is is that they're so flat and lifeless! I can't style my bangs at all! What can I do to add more volume to them or make sure that they actually stay looking somewhat decent throughout the day? Maybe even some hairstyles to keep them out of my face?

French braid them :) gets even the choppier bangs out of your face.

Sorry some dry shampoo in the roots and round brush them under and to the side
