Toner is actually bad for you skin. It contains a large amount of alcohol and sometimes cornstarch. It will cause more breakouts than without it. I use my face wash and use a rag to work it into my skin. My face never feels cleaner.
I use Avene Cleanance and I dont have breakouts anymore since I use it with the avene cleanance sebo-regulating cream, but it reaaaally depends on your skin, everyone is different!!
Toner isn't bad for your skin, some may contain alcohol but the simple brand mentioned above doesn't, I use it & I love it. It contains witch hazel which is also moisturizing. I've been using toner since I hit puberty & it's the one product I couldn't live without. It evens out my skin tone & cleans out stuff other cleansers leave behind.
Thanks Lindsey :) I was about to ask for any brand witch hazel toners or for rosé water as well but there's so many to choose from :) thanks ill look into simple toner :)
There might be rose water in the simple one, best thing to do is go to the store, hit up the 'organic beauty section' in Walmart or wherever and read the ingredients! I've tried the Burt's bees kind and still like the simple way better. Good luck! :)
Aloe Vera sun relief gel. Works wonders. I also like neutrogena acne stress relief toner but it's kind of harsh on my skin so I make sure to pair it with a really good moisturizer
I agree with the others about Simple. I love it. I use it before I apply make up and I find that the foundation looks better and lasts longer. It also helps I remove any residue of foundation after I've removed my make up. Oh and it's super gentle and feels so lovely and soothing.

Not toners have alcohol.
I hate when people who really know nothing about skincare make bold statements like that!

Rosewater. Burt's Bee's makes one, but the best can be found at ethnic (mostly Asian) grocery stores. It's amazing, google it.
