I'm actually dealing with this myself due to some health issues. I've given the Tarte Maracuja line months now and while they are gentle and super hydrating, my darkness did not fade. I just saw my derm and she recommended a few items from their store that are tailored for my skin type. One of them has ascorbic acid (vitamin C) to help brighten, but you need to watch usage of some C formulations around the eye as it can sting. I wish I could offer more advice. As for concealing/brightening the eye area from a cosmetic standpoint, I just spoke with Ms. Jacqueline regarding a few products, but they are not from the drugstore. I wish they were! lol You'll want a product that color corrects and illuminates. Hopefully our lovely members can recommend a product that suits your needs.
