So j have not been able to find the right foundation, it's either too light like ashy looking lol or too dark the ones I have now look orange so I have to end up blending it all down my neck so it won't look all weird, any suggestions??
also nothing too expensive drugstore would help since I'm kinda broke now due to make up ha

Have you looked at the True Match, Fit Me or Covergirl Queen Collection shades? I have seen the IMAN line at Target and Walgreens.

I have found that most commonly people in your color range require two foundations. Example: Some girls have darkness around the outer edges of the face or the mouth area, when you put one shade all over the face they don't feel like they look like themselves because they are used to seeing a light center and darker edges. You may also be more of a neutral tone. Girls that get something to yellow often go ashy, even if the color would normally be a good fit, while something to pink makes them look orange. The best bet would be to go to a counter and get matched, take a sample home and try it out for a few days. I hope you find this information helpful.

Have your tried the brand Black Radiance? It's a drugstore brand that caters to people of darker skin, I personally love their mascara. But I would check them out, I know a couple small products are sold at (my local) Kmart, but I've only seen eye makeup, and target has a lot of their stuff, including foundation. Then I know Cover Girl has a line dedicated towards darker skin tones, so I'd look out for those. But have you tried Loreal's True Match? They seem to have a great selection in the darker categories also! I would do some research, and YouTube some videos about this topic, I'm sure you're not the only person with this issue :) good luck!

Sorry didn't see you wanted drugstore products, however even if you were matched to a more expensive makeup just to get the correct color I know their is some website that translates colors between brands.

Do you know you're undertone? cool, warm, nentrul etc? if you know your undertone I suggest you look at loreal true match they have lots of shades for different undertones. also black radiance is pretty good I'm using liquid foundation right now and its the first foundation to truly match me to a t. you should check it out. it does lean more on the red side so be careful with what you set it with or you're going to look red face like a ompa lompa lol.
