It can look really nice, subtle or not subtle. But be sure that it's blended. With curly hair if you just apply in a straight line it can really look odd

But you see how it has pieces blended higher and some don't go very high at all, I think that's important. At least to me, the ones that look like a straight line like the extensions in the photo doesn't look as good. It just looks off to me.

I'd do an ombre but a darker caramel color cause your hair is gorgeous.
