Essence is basically the only brand of makeup I recognize and trust here. I am running out of my mascara and I was wondering if Essence had a good one to replace my old one, Maybelline Rocket mascara? There are sooo many options, I just don't know which one I should try. I don't necessarily need one with the same results, I just want one that doesn't clump easily :) Also are their concealers any good? Their Match 2 cover, coverstick, and corrector stay natural are the only ones available here. What about their cream to powder highlight? Any other suggestions of Essence products you love? Any you hated? I'd love to get some opinions :)

I just bought it Naomi! I looove it!! I have had trouble finding a bronzer for my complexion, and I absolutely love the way it looks! Plus it smells like sunscreen and pina coladas lol

Unfortunately I havent tried their concealer - I belive I have a mascara but I will have to give that a look before I can give you the name.
But I have to recommend yo their lipliners!! Satin mauve is my favorite.
Also I love their black cased lipstick, I don't know if they have a specific name, but its their more"expensive" lipstick haha I have the color Barely There which I use so much! I also have the coral one, I think its called coral calling - really pretty summery color. And last time I was able to get Essence I got the color natural beauty I belive its called - a very light natural pink.
Their slik touch blushes is really nice, they stay nicely on my skin and have a good color selection.
I just recently bought their cream highlighter which is a really pretty color - the formular takes some getting used to :)
I will go take a picture of my essences things and check up on the mascara situation ;)

Thank you so much Sabrina! I was wondering about their blushes! And I am a sucker for lip products! I will definitely check out the lipliners and lipsticks! The coral sounds gorgeous! And I was curious how the highlighter applied, I have never used a cream to powder product, do you apply right after foundation? I figured since it is cream it is best to apply before any powder right?

Yes I like to apply the highlighter directly on top of my foundation and apply my blush or bronzer over it! It gives a very natural shine I feel :)

Thank you so much Sabrina! I will definitely look into the blushes and lipsticks, they are gorgeous! And I actually have the matte gloss, but it never set for me.. I probably apply it too thick though lol And I will definitely be picking up that highlighter now! Do you have look on the bright side or bright up your life? I'm guessing one is for cool undertones and one is for warm undertones?

They are great buys :) You will have to send my pictures of what you get :) Barely there is definitely in my top 5 lipsticks!
I only used the matte gloss once or twice, I get nausea buy the smell - but its doesn't set for me either, it gives like a satin feel.
And apparently I'm getting so old that I can't remember the name of a product that I just took a picture of haha so I had to go back and look! And its Bright up you life I have :)

Once I get paid I will definitely share my buys! I have started getting into nude lipsticks, but I haven't found one that works, so I will be giving Barely There a try for sure! And I totally get not knowing the name lol I have to have the polishes I used right next to me when I share a design lol or else I am constantly getting up to check XD. Thanks for all the wonderful suggestions!

Essence has a great brow gel, but I also recommend their nail polishes and sth called express dry drops - they make your polish dry in seconds!

All their mascaras are amazing. I forgot the names but there's like a big one in a blue bottle and one in a black one and they're both pretty similar. I never tried their highlights and powders but I also loveeee their lip products. They have matte liquid lipsticks and for the price they're amazing!! To me, this brand is worth spending money on and testing the different products because its so affordable and there are some real good products.

I love the lipliners, blushes, lash princess mascara (its good for volume and length with no smudging but it can easily get clumpy but nothing a lash comb can't fix :-)) the lipsticks and lipglosses Sabrina showed are very nice, the gel polish are great too I don't use a top or base coat with them and they last about five days on me. The eyeshadow primer is ok its not my favourite.

I don't like their lipsticks as they feel too "oily" to me (I'm a fan of a more drier textures rimmel's kind of lipstics)... I feel I tried everything from Essence so my recomendations are: their matte translucent powder (comparable to the famous Rimmel one),bronzers (awesome for pale ppl as they are not too orangy and dark,and the texture is really nice-acctualy I like em more than the other that were way more expensive),nail polishes,brow gel,nude lipliners and eye pencils...
The things I was never a fan are concealers (not pigmented enough and poor choice of colors,which is generally a problem in foundations too as I am pale),mascaras (every one was more or less clumpy looking and I don't like that kind of look), and lipstics (again,not very lasting and too emolient but good for that everyday glossy "not too made up" look)... Hope I helped :)
