Lately I have been breaking out really bad and my face has been extremely oily so I haven't been wearing makeup to see if it will go away and lessen. it hasn't. my acne has gotten way worse and my face has gotten 10x worse. I haven't worn makeup in about 2 weeks because of all of it! help!

What skincare are you using on your face right now? And what's your price range for a skincare routine?

I had been using dial soap because it was seriously the only thing that would dry out my skin enough. then I would put Aveeno moisturizer.

Try Cetaphil's oil control foam wash. I have oily skin and I use that daily. Then I moisturize with Pacifica's intensely moisturizing body butter with Shea & mango butters.

Ouch!! Using Dial soap on your face...yikes. Drying out your skin is actually a bad thing and will only cause the situation to become even worse. I'm in the same boat as you Kelsi...except I know the cause of my situation...taking meds I had no business taking and my body/skin reacted quite horribly. Just as my skin was healing and getting back on track I received distressing news and now its back to square one again. What I've been using is just a super basic non active ingredient cleanser for both day time and night time use. A spot treatment only applied to the most intense spots and some stuff my husband concocted for me containing peptides and B5 and hyluronic acid. Drying out your skin is actually causing it to overproduce oil. Have you introduced your skin to any new products over the past month and a half? Sometimes you can use something for months on end and then all of sudden experience an intense breakout. Delayed reaction. As Sarah mentioned what is your budget as I'm sure that between the two of us we can locate alternatives to fit what you can afford.

I haven't been taking any new medicine or anything so that can't be it. and now that you say that, it totally makes sense! I have used like toner and stuff but it didn't really make much of a difference and I tried it for like 2 months.. I don't really have much of a budget just not outrageously expensive.
