No diy for split ends besides getting a trim. Your hair is only go to continue to break up and go higher, so the longer you wait the more damage you'll have. Then when you decide to get it cut you'll have to get more cut off. There is no diy for split ends.

There is no diy or anything to fix split ends. They need to be cut off. Nothing repairs them.

Someone was asking this on here earlier. The only thing I know you can diy is put a mashed avocado in your ends. It'll hold them together like glue for A COUPLE OF DAYS. You'll need to cut it. But it will grow back more quickly after, provided you take care of it with good conditioners and masks. And don't use as much heat.

Even though there's no DIY to trimming your hair you can cut every few weeks. That way you won't look half crazy Ma ;)

Not sure if this would be considered diy, but coconut oil helps make ends look less frizzy& smoother, but won't get rid of them.

You can not repair split ends!! I don't care what anyone or any company tells you. Once it's split that's it. Now you can try to prevent split ends by taking good hair of your hair and babying it, I.e conditioners, deep conditioners, oil treatments, stop dyeing, and stop with the heat. You can trim split ends without losing a lot of length or any length at all, you can look for individual split ends and trim those or you can start micro trimming (you can google it but it's basically just trimming off a small amount of hair each month). Hope this helps 😀xx from a recovering hair destroyer 💋

Oh and I highly recommend learning to trim your own hair. You can trim off the exact amount you want and don't have to pay anything for it( besides the couple bucks for hairscissors but I promise it's worth it). YouTube is great for that and this is super easy to follow as well http://feyeselftrim.livejournal.com/
