Ohkay, ladies I don't know how to really properly 'take care' of my nails and I want to grow them out long and strong. My nails are very flimsy and I can bend them (if that makes any sense).

Keeping them moisturized is what the usually need. I use a cuticle cream from Burt's Bees and vaseline for under my nails. When I would do this about 3 times a week. Now I do it once a week. I also use Perfect Formula gel nail polish (you can buy it at Sephora) My nails are back to being strong, white and growing! Let me know if you would like any additional information about the products I mentioned :)

Use coconut oil around cuticles as often as possible (even before bed apply a generous amount) the best thing to do its tap your nails as much as you can, this stimulates the nail growth, the more your finger tips are moving the more it stimulates growth, as a massage therapist I can cut my nails to the skin and they will grow back writhin a day or so!

Orly Nail Repair Kit. I got mine at Sally's for about $8-9. It comes with brush on nail glue and "repair powder." What I do is brush the nail glue UNDERNEATH my nails, and then dip them in the powder (and for a fresh manicured look, I'll paint on some strengthening clear coat on top). What this tactic does is it makes your nails super strong, but they still look completely natural. They will not bend. And bonus, I've found that if I smack my nail on something that should've broken it, it will break the powder-cement underneath instead of my nail, and then I just go reapply it when needed. I keep one kit at home, one at work, and one in my purse. Seriously a life saver.

I personally take a pill called biotine. It's a little purple pill and my hair and nails are growing like weeds! My nails are not fragile anymore and I swear they grow daily. Hahah!
