Dose of colors matte lippies?

Has anyone tried these? How does it compare to Kat Von D's liquid lipsticks? Just wondering what the lasting power of these are and if they're less drying than KVD.

I've never tried the Kat von D ones, but the Dose of Colors ones are my favorite liquid lipstick formula! They're nice and matte, but they're more of a mousse formula rather than a liquid (like the lime crime), and they're comfortable on the lips. They don't dry my lips out like a lot of other liquid lipsticks do. I have the shades Sand, Stone, Brick, and Berry Me.

Shelley, I'm interested in bare with me and brick, only because stone. I was looking for a nude matte lip that can last a while, I don't find my mac lipsticks do that... Haha. Then I saw the color brick and thought I had to have that too... Lol! I actually wanted a classic red from their line but they don't seem to have the color either. It looked too pink?

Molly, thanks. That's what I heard that it was more comfortable than Kat Von d. The KVD on me do last quite a while but it is pretty drying after 4 or 5 hours and is not very comfortable then. What is the longevity of the dose of colors?

I love my DOC matte stains BUT they are actually pretty drying, and I find they really crack in the center of lips.
But besides that they wear forever, I've worn them on nights out where I was out sundown to sunup and never had to reapply.

But I do find the KVD ones do wear slightly better because the formula isn't as thick, even though you need to reapply slightly more often

Thanks Carolyn haha but now I'm even more confused lol! Maybe it depends on the person? Was interested in DOC because I've heard it's less drying. I should try it out anyway

I still recommend them because the wear on them is ridiculous, like I almost never have to reapply (just in the center) and I've worn them for like 12 hours. Totally worth it.

I love mine! I always use chapstick underneath and that helps with the dryness. I find berry me to be very dry while Pinky promise is not at all. they are thicker then kat von d and I actually prefer dose of colors.

Thanks Carolyn!! I love me some liquid lipsticks! I ended up buying two. Bare with me and Brick! I need a good pinky nude liquid lipstick that I don't have to reapply. Haha, all I have are random Mac lipsticks that doesn't last lol. The brick shade though... I couldn't resist when I saw it :)

Kelly thanks! I usually do use Some type of balm before applying liquid lipstick. I'm excited to get mine!!
