Hi lady's so I need your help my husband is a marine and we have the marine corps ball coming up and it's fancy I just had a baby 2months ago so I'm still not comfortable with my body I'd love your help on some dress ideas if possible thanks lady's.

Make sure it's not too revealing. I got my dress from Amazon. They have a ton that aren't too expensive and come in a ton of colors!

Floor length for sure. When I went to an army ball that was required. Make sure you that it's not to revealing or white. White is frowned upon. Wear comfortable heels.

Floor length is no longer required at usmc balls, but it's kind of an unwritten rule, at least on the base we were at. I would do as Livi suggested and get a shaper, and probably a more flowy, loose fitting dress. And I'd go for a solid color. Red, blue, gold, and silver all look nice with their dress blues!

I have a stepdad and various family members in military. I don't what base your hubby is stationed at but some of them can be old fashion/uber conservative so to ire on caution dress with a conservative eye. High front splits, off the shoulder, low cleavage and tight form fitting dresses...steer clear off. Even though you aren't the one on the front line as a soldier you are representation of your man and those higher up on the chain also look at the signficant others (so insane but it is what it is). So all that being said also keep your makeup conservative as well. Not the time to try that sexy vampy eye. Keep makeup understated.
