I recently tried this foundation. there was a free sample in one of my magazines. First, my skintype. I have 'mature' skin. No wrinkles but some lack of firmness & beginning signs of sagging. Very dry, rough texture, medium size pores with melasma patches on both cheeks. So, about the foundation. It was kinda thick, but really smooth. It definitely covered my discoloration and smoothed the texture of my skin. It felt hydrating for my dehydrated skin. I didn't feel the need for an added concealer. I didn't put it under my eyes because I prefer a peach toned concealer under my eyes, although I think it would have covered my dark circles. Now the cons. It felt heavy, and even though it felt hydrating and gave a satin-like finish, it set a little too matte for me. I like a dewy finish. It actually was too full-coverage for me. And even though I used less & less of the foundation on the 2nd & third day, it still felt heavy. Today I used a different foundation and used the FOUNDCEALER as a concealer on my melasma patches & it did cover it, and even though I used the tiniest amount, it still felt heavy.
So, who is this for? Someone who likes flawless, full coverage who doesn't mind how heavy it feels. And someone who has "textural" issues. Like large pores and orange-peel skin. The best thing and the most unique quality of this foundation in my opinion is its smoothing capabilities. And I didn't even use a primer. I"m not going to go out and buy this, but if I already owned it, I would use it for evenings and for really hard to cover discolorations. Its long-wearing and since I have dry skin, I didn't need to mattify my skin throughout the day. I originally only set it with my Mally Face Defender, but only my T-zone & on the pory areas, just to blur out my pores completely. I don't have any dry patches right now, but I would imagine it would not cling to them. So all that said. If any of this sounds interesting to you, I suggest getting a sample 1st before buying the full size.

Hmm, looking all over for this on the Clinique website because it seems like exactly what I've been looking for, but can't find it anywhere! :-( Nothing with that name is available on the site

That's what I was thinking as I was scrolling through the site but I wasn't sure! Thanks!

I actually think it's really light weight on my skin tbh and I put a little bit on a really buffed it in for medium coverage
