I feel very beautiful with all my makeup done but I hate my face without it. I don't have acne but I have freckles and my face is so pale compared to my body (I wear self Tannner on body). I miss out on events like cliff jumping and what not with all my friends because I don't want the guys to see me without it. What should I do? Possibly a self tanner for the face? Or? Any suggestions.

I agree, you look so gorgeous. If you still want to go to events like cliff jumping,Just wear a brow wax (nyx has a good one),waterproof mascara, and a waterproof foundation perhaps? But yeah to gradually tan your face, use a tanning lotion like the one listed above:)

If you feel like self tanner for your face would help definitely do that :) also I totally know how you feel, I used to be like that& I just couldn't get out of the house without makeup, what helped me most I think is to not wear makeup for a whole week, or as long as you can, and it sounds kinda crazy but eventually you start to notice the natural beauty you have, I think your eye shape is so gorgeous& everything else too :) what also helps when going out without makeup for the first couple of times I find is curling your eyelashes because that makes your eyes look super gorgeous easily& without makeup, also if you want use some brow gel (I prefer clear but a colored one should be fine too) it helps you look more polished while also still looking super natural. Another tip is instead of making everything else look lazy (messy bun, sweatpants, etc) do your hair nicely (curl or straighten it) &wear something you feel looks nice on you :)

Hope this helps& sorry its so long! Lol

In situations where I can't/don't want to wear a full face of makeup, I use a tinted moisturizer/BB cream, fill in my eyebrows, and curl my lashes. Thats usually enough to make me feel like I don't look tired and dead lol Self tanner for the face will probably help a lot if that is your main concern.

I'd also like to point out that I think most of it is in our heads. We are our own worst critics. I'm sure we notice things about ourselves that most people would not. If you're worried specifically about guys, most guys are pretty savvy to the fact that girls wear makeup. I don't think anyone is going to freak out or think too much about it and if they do, TRUST ME, that is NOT someone you want to associate with. Don't let it stop you from doing the things you want to do and enjoy life!

I can't make you change your mind but just wanted to say that I love pale and I find people with frickles very intersting and unique.
I have pale skin too and to be honest I usually try to avoid tanning from the suj because that's how I like my skin. I wish I hade some freckles! ;)
What I mean is that maybe you don't realize how beautiful you seem to others. So don't hate your no makeup face hun. :)

I spent so much of my young life hating my curly hair. I missed out on so much fun and so many events - I wouldn't be caught dead with one hair un-blowdried! What a waste of time! I now haven't blow-dryed my hair in over 6 years and I refuse to "fix" my hair. I'm so happy - if not a little messy looking! My hair phobia caused me so much stress and insecurity. It's SO not worth it. I let myself be and feel so much more comfortable in life in general.

I have freckles and pale lashes and brows naturally, I still fill in my brows daily however how I stopped wearing foundation and stuff everyday was by trying to use a lighter coverage foundation instead of my normal full coverage foundation, because I don't really like minimal makeup on me I just thought whatever and ditched the lighter foundation and just went bare skinned and brows filled in and mascara, I don't wear mascara that much anymore cause I don't mind looking like I have no eyelashes cause I know they're there lol :P but just try wearing less of a full face when you wear your makeup. :) trust me, it's worth it when you can rub your nose and eyes if they're itchy when you're out rather then panicking about your makeup being ruined. Who cares about some boys, I'd be stoked about the outdoor activities lol!

Paige, you can try a tad darker of foundation. You're pretty and don't w/ or w/o makeup. Just be yourself. Beauty starts from within. And speaking of cliff jumping, that would be fun. I just did bungee jump weeks ago and it was fun. It was 250ft height. Not bad for a first timer. And I wore light coverage foundation just to have some glow on my skin. It did good though. Here is my pic.

Me and my coworkers did bungee jump. This was after I jumped. My makeup stayed this long despite of the sweats and rain. Btw, I use mac mineralize foundation.

I'll be honest I do feel better with makeup on but I made myself stop because of that reason and because makeup started to feel like a job and it's one of my favourite things the first week I was so uncomfortable with myself week 2 I standard with caring more about my skincare routine I always had one but I got more information on the subject and now I'm so into skincare even though I'm back to my makeup what I would recommend is using a face tanning cream and a lighter face wash because when you use face tanner and wash your face a whole bunch it gets hard to keep your face tan please take a good look at yourself because you my dear are simply so beautiful it's ridiculous :-)
