I don't have the palette above but I do have a few Sephora palette's and I'm always pleased with the shadows.
Ombre shadow have been around before lol it's just a visual grab, nothing special you need to do to use them.:)

Sarah you can but it's not a must it's just showing you the levels in shades that are options to a look you choose to do but you can use them together if you like.:)
