So my new job requires me to dress business casual, my question can I wear blue jeans (obviously not distressed) but with a nice shirt? Or are jeans a complete no? Also do you have any outfit ideas as it is still really hot where I live but will cool down in about 3 weeks.

I'd say play it safe and not for the first few days until I had a feel for the overall work environment and what both my coworkers and boss wear. You can still rock great business casual..and if you see that it is cool, then go for it, but always just a lil notch above to be a stand out. ;)

The key is that it is business casual and not "casual", but jeans have come a long way in many colors, styles, etc..and you most likely CAN by playing them up with accessories. So better safe your first few days, I say. These are cute.

Or this...I found a ton of biz casual with jeans that look amazing so I hope you do get to wear them and enjoy doing so. Best of luck!

Ahh thanks! (: I am looking into which type of dresses I also can wear because the lady mentioned that they have certain days where girls are required to wear dresses

My line of work business casual is usually the dress code and I have never seen anyone wear jeans. In fact the prof who had me doing research at school before my last internship told me that jeans are the biggest no of business casual. Business casual means no suit jackets or stiff dress shirts and guys don't have to have suit pants. Skirts and dresses are most often the pick for women who need to dress in that style.
