I'd smudge some black or brown around the upper and lower lashlines, blending it outwards and enhancing it with false lashes :) and perhaps an inner corner highlight!

I'm weird and I actually love dark smokey eyes with vampy lips. otherwise I find that my lips over power my face or my brows look weird... just be careful to use colors that work well together, or else it could get a little weird looking.

I just wore this combo of a vampy lip and eye today and I wish I had the energy to transfer the pic from my phone but its such a pain. But basically I used the Anastasia BH Tamanna Eye palette and my lips I slapped on Milani lip color in Black Cherry. Before discovering BL I followed the RULE...make one feature the focus and keep the other feature low key. Considering my skintone and facial structure going vampy on the lips and smokey on the eyes look best on me in warm jewel toned shades with a metallic/shimmer finish (in regards to the eyes and going with a matte lip). I like wearing it only during the fall/winter as with summer here in FL can be brutal. Now that I think about it...I might just keep it vampy/smokey thru the whole season. Gives me an excuse to buy more matte vampy lip colors. :)
