Get some boxed hair bleach and put it at the ends of your hair, and then back comb it so the fade looks more natural. If you want more of a gradient, 10 minutes later add more bleach a little higher up. Do not let the bleach stay in your hair any longer than it says on the box!

I recommend applying bleach to your ends and wiping the bleach off small sections gradually. So, let the top portion bleach for less time than the portion underneath that, and so on. I did this and waited five minutes between each part. The water deactivates bleach, making ombre hair simple.

never get boxed stuff!!!!! ah. go to a professional. I did an ombre on Saturday for 40 bucks. so its not expensive. please don't listen to the person above me. sorry...but that stuff is so bad for your hair. and back combing is such a messy technique. as a professional I beg you to go to a salon.
