Beauty Product Reviews

I have been using this for a few weeks and I've noticed an improvement with the dark circles and minor improvement with lines under my eyes. I apply twice a day and only need a tiny amount. As a previous reviewer said, it is lightweight and has a bit of a smell but I do not think it is too overwhelming.

I have combination-oily skin and have been using this product for three years. I do not need a lot and it keeps my face moisturized all day. It does not have that greasy feeling, unless you use too much and I haven't noticed a funny sunscreen smell. I found that it makes a great base for my foundation.

dubious at first

I just attended the Sephora-Too Faced bronzer event and they used this and Chocolate Soleil Matte. Looking at Sun Bunny, I thought it would be too shimmery but it is very subtle. Worked well for contouring my round face to bring out my hidden cheek bones :)

I am just finishing up my first week of using this palette and so far it's okay. Some colors are difficult to see on my skin but mixing and matching makes a difference. On me, I tried it with the sample primer that comes with it and the colors do not last but without a primer, they do. I found just a light application of liquid foundation works best for me. It does feel a bit chalky but I haven't had an issue with fall out. I like matte finishes for every day but will likely mix this up with Boudoir Eyes when I want a little shimmer/shine.

Funky smell and texture

I picked this up, honestly, for the oil-free part and I had been using it since January. When it first comes out of the tube, it smells like exhaust fumes which turns to smelling like burning electrical wires. Like one reviewer said, the consistency feels thick/thin and like a barrier to foundation. After a few hours (2-3), my face looks oily and the make-up looks awful. I've tried applying a little and a lot (primer and foundation) to see if it changes but no luck. I've stopped using it and my make-up looks much better! I am now trying philosophy total matteness ... stay tuned!
