Perfect Shade for Fair Skin

I saw a review of this online and loved it! Went straight to my mac store and bought it, so so pretty! It's perfect for highlighting cheekbones and brow bones but be careful on the nose and forehead as you don't want to make yourself look shiny! Matte finishes are better for that :)

Super Pretty Colour!

I had read so many lovely reviews on this highlighter. It was one of my first M.A.C purchases and I'm glad I did! It is such a lovely champagne color, I use it to highlight my brow, inner corner, apples of my cheeks. I've even used it as a eye shadow. I cannot wait to collect more mineralized skinfinishes.

The best bronzer in my life....

So I initialy went to MAC to purchase Soft and Gentle, But the lady that worked there talked me into get the Gold Deposit. I didn't really use it at first but now I literally use it EVERYDAY. I love this product soooo much, and i have oily skin I'm not usually all for the "shiny" look, because it does have a Sparkly golden effect to it. But I have fair skin and this is MY favorite bronzer to use.

I was looking for something effective to use as a highlight for contouring my face and the woman at the MAC counter suggested this. I tried the sample and decided I definitely wanted to add this product as part of my daily makeup routine. It's definitely a great highlighter and worked really well with my fair skin tone. It blends so well with other products and lasts all day. Also, you get so much product for the price!

What does this do again??

After hearing everyone making such a hype on the blogsphere, I felt I had to go and buy this when MAC launched it LE Mineralize collection and honestly I have used it twice and thats it. What does this do?? It is not pigmented enough for the colour to show on my skin and also doesn't add that much impact when used as a highlight. Personally the only Mineralize product I am going to buy from MAC again is the Mineralize Skinfinish Natural . . .at least I KNOW what that is meant to do

Great Bronzer

I was really not going to buy this product at first because I had so many bronzers and they all blended with my skin so i had given up on the whole bronzing idea. Then one day i was as the MAC counter and this lady was trying it on she had a deeper complexion then me and the bronzer looked gorgeous on her so i decided I would try it out and I loved it . I decided to buy Gold Deposit because i loved the golden sheen. I sometimes use it as an highlight or all over with a primer and it brings out my natural skin color. Its very versatile as well I use it as a eyeshadow or to add sparkle to my lipstick or lip gloss. It lasts a very very long time I've had mine for a year and have barely made a dent . If you like the Golden Goddess look definitely get this product.

holy grail that i always come back to

I was reluctant to buy this when I did, because I just started switching my collection fully to high-end products. I really wasn't sure if this would be worth the cost, but you get an endless amount of product for the price. I have been using mine for just under a year (and nearly every day, at that) and mine has just eroded past the rounded top but isn't completely flat across it yet. Some people complain about the shimmer, which I solve by one quick tap of any brush (I've used several) and it reduces it perfectly. I leave the shimmer when I want a fuller highlight, like on the cheekbones and in the cupid's bow of the lip. It wears all day. This is absolutely gorgeous and although I end up trying other highlighters because they come in kits, etc, absolutely none come even close to this one. When I got this, I honestly felt that my overall look was taken up ten notches.

so can I buy stuff off here or what? If not it would be a good idea to make it possible! Love the color and product itself just so hard to find the right one at the store and I get frustrated trying so i dont get it!

MUST HAVE!

I find this product to be very effective. I do a lot of contouring with harsh colours and it blends them really well! It is great for going out or for everyday looks. It has a shimmery tint which isn't too noticeable but catches with sun light for a finished summer look! It really makes your skin look soft and blemish free. I would definitely recommend it for makeup newbies or even pros, it's easy to work with and very efficient. It goes great with all colours including bronzers and blush, shimmer or not. Overall a great product to have in your makeup bag!

A Little Overrated

Honesly In my opinion this highlighter is average. I do not think it is a bad product, I just think that there are other other products out there that are very comparable and or better. The main reason I feel that this product deserves an average rating is because, the powder over all is not finely milled enough. The sparkles that are incorporated with the powder stand out too much on the skin. In my opinion this powder just sits on the top of my skin and doesn't blend as well as I would have liked. You have to very careful when you are applying it, because it can easily make your skin imperfections stand out. Also it can your face appear too shiny in a bad way. I think it works better as a highlighter for the brow bone area only , and that is what i use it for.
