My attempt at the conch shell braid.
It doesn't look quite as good as the runway one cause my sisters hair is really frizzy, but it was actually super easy to do.
I just braided three French braids with the front part of her hair, then braided three regular underneath and I wrapped the braids into buns flat against her head until all the braids were in the bun. I should have done them all in the same direction, which I didn't realize till I'd finished. I was attempting to hide the bobby pins as well, which was a little annoying because we were using shiny silver ones since they were the cheapest. Anyway I hope these instructions help someone cause I couldn't find instructions for a braid like this anywhere online and it wasn't actually that difficult, this is my first attempt at it so I think next time it'll look a lot nicer. Also if the person who's hair your braiding has really frizzy/curly hair you probably want to use some product and keep a spray bottle on hand to keep the hair damp when your braiding, it will make it a lot easier. One other thing, my sister has got really long hair so this hair style was relatively easy and worked really well, it might be pretty hard if your hair is any shorter than shoulder length. And it is not a style easily done to yourself because it involves a lot of pinning with the bobby pins, especially if you want them in a design of some sort.
