Nanu Nanu Ombre Nails

My first Ombre Nails post - NANU NANU Nails!

My 'Alien-Pop' band NANU NANU did a big gig in the UK last week and I created these outer space inspired nails especially for the occasion. I used four different nail polishes for this Ombre effect, a base of plain black, followed by a dark iron grey from about a third way up the nail which I blended into the black. I painted the top third of the nails in a light silver shimmer which I blended with the Iron grey and then I dusted the tips with some loose silver glitter. I used a clear based glitter varnish (in silver) as a top coat to seal the loose glitter at the tips and bring the whole nail together by adding a twinkle all over. Everybody loved these nails, they really stood out at the gig and I will definitely be doing them again!
